1. I already have an online account on your old site (eberliron.com), will my login info work here too?

No. Online Store Customers will need to create a new account, which you can do here,  or you may now check out as a guest, without creating an account.

However, if you choose to check out as a guest, you will not have online access to your order history, returns, quotes, saved addresses, or other online account services that can significantly improve your online experience.

3. Why Did My Payment Transaction Fail?

By far, the most common reason that a credit card transaction fails is that the Billing Address - especially the Zip Code - does not match what is on file with the bank that issued your credit card.

Your credit card will not go through if the zip code that you provide on the payment screen of the checkout does not match the zip code that is on your credit card statement.

If your billing address is different than your shipping address, you must uncheck the box on the payment entry screen that says "My billing and shipping address are the same" and then enter the address information that appears on your credit card statement in the fields that appear.

Another reason that your payment transaction might fail is if there is a daily spending limit on your card and your purchase is greater than that limit. In this case, you would have to contact the bank that issued your card (number should be located on the back of your card) and ask them to remove the limit.

The automatically generated email that is sent to you after your transaction fails does not specify the exact reason that your card was declined, but if you contact us: 1 (800) 285-3056, we can look that information up and provide you with a more definitive reason.

99 times out of 100, the issue will be solved by looking at the address on your credit card statement and making sure that it matches the billing address information that you input during payment entry.

4. I already have Terms with Eberl Iron Works, can I shop online and pay using those terms?

Yes. We can grant your Business Account with online shopping rights, and allow specific people within your business to login online and make purchases utilizing the terms you have set up, which may include using: purchase orders, stored tax exempt information, special account pricing and more.

5. Can I use my own shipping account to avoid paying for shipping during checkout?

Yes. During the checkout process your will choose "Pay via your own Account - Customer Account" Shipping Method and then provide the details of your shipper (Carrier Name: such as UPS, Old Dominion, etc. and Carrier Account Number). After which you bill be charged $0 additional dollars for shipping and your order will be shipped via the method you have specified.

6. How can I Request a Quote?

There are several methods to request a quote on our website:

For items that already have prices listed, where you are interested in getting a bulk discount or need an official quote, you may add the items and their quantities to your shopping cart, then click the "Convert to Quotation" button found in your shopping cart.

For items that do not have prices listed, you may click on the "Request Quotation" button that appears on the item page after you have selected the options for that item, then fill out the brief form to request pricing.

You may also click the "Quote Request" link in the white navigation bar, located at the top of our website. With this method, you also have the ability to upload files with your request, such as: drawings, images, etc.

7. I am purchasing for a business, can I pay with a PO and be invoiced later?

Maybe. If you have submitted an application for credit, and we have approved your account for Net Terms, you may pay via Purchase Order, provided your accound is not over its credit limit, and is in good standing.

8. Can I Apply for Credit?

Yes. Whether you already have a business account and currently pay by credit card, or would like to set up a new business account, we can accomodate your needs.

Please download and fill out our Credit Application, linked below, and send it back to us.

If you already have a business account, please request to sync it with your online account, link appears below, so that any new terms will be reflected during your checkout process, once your application is approved.

If you do not already have a business account setup with us, please create a new one, using the link provided below, before submitting your credit application (and tax exempt information if applicable).

9. I'm tax exempt, how do I get taxes removed from my online order before paying?

To get through the checkout process without having taxes applied to your order, you must:

1) Have a business account with us

2) Provide us with a valid tax exempt certificate

If you already have a business account with us, and already have your tax exempt information on file, but your cart still comes up with taxes, it may just mean that your online account needs to be synced with your existing business account. Here, you can request to Sync Existing Business Account.

10. I added an item to my cart and the price shows as $0.00 - can I still buy it?

We will not honor any "purchases" that include free items. Occasionally, the module we use to hide pricing, on items that a quote needs to be requested for, malfunctions and the "Add to Cart" button remains on the page, allowing customers to add it to their cart.

In the event that this occurs, we will ship only the items that have been paid for and treat the zero dollar item(s) as a request for quote. We do not have any free products on our site.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

All items with a price of $0.00 are "Request a Quote" only.

11. How Much Will Tax and Shipping Be?

Good Question.

Our site uses third party tax software to accurately configure your tax rate during the checkout process.

Our site is also tied to our small package and LTL Freight Carriers, so that an accurate shipping/freight rate is also calculated during the checkout process.

For these rates to appear, you must add your item(s) to the cart and begin the checkout process. When you click the cart icon, in the upper right, a drop down will appear with a button to go to the checkout page, as well as a link to "View and Edit Cart" your cart.

If you choose to view your cart, you will see an area to "Estimate Shipping and Tax". Here you can provide your shipping State and Zip Code and all available shipping rates will appear, as well as tax. If tax does not appear here, we do not charge tax in your shipping location.

If you click the checkout button, and then provide all of your shipping information, shipping rates will appear. Once you select the desired rate and click "next" a detailed summary of your order, including tax and shipping will appear on the payment entry screen.

Please do not request a quote for tax and shipping. Up to the minute rates are configured online, at the time of order.

These rates are provided prior to payment, so you can be 100% certain of what you will be charged, should you desire to complete your online order.

12. Missing Item(s): Where is the Rest of My Order?

Please note, it is very common for the orders to ship from multiple locations and arrive at different times/dates. Our tracking emails are for the first item(s) shipped on your order. This sometimes causes confusion as you might receive only part of your shipment, at first, and have to wait several more days for your completed order to arrive. If a few days have passed and you are still without all of your items, please reach out to us to look into it (usually there is just a lag time).

13. How to Initiate a Return

If you have an Online Customer Account, or a Business Account, you can log into your account, navigate to your account dashboard, and initiate an online return through the dashboard. All requests to return material must be submitted within 30 days of material receipt. Returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee

14. Do You Ship Internationally?

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS INCLUDING CANADA AND MEXICO:

We will not set up international shipments. We will ship to the freight forwarding service of your choice, within the US, simply use their address as your shipping destination at checkout. You will need to specifiy any specialized instructions and/or paperwork that is needed in the order comments, or contact us directly with that information. You may also choose to pick your order up from our facility (either yourself or by scheduling your own carrier to do so) by selecting "Customer Pick-Up" during checkout and we will notify you when your order is ready. Once again, please make sure to include any special instructions and/or paperwork requests in the order comments, or contact us directly.

All additional Customs or Duties Fees charged by your shipper or by your country's Customs Department will be at your expense.
